Trish was incredibly accommodating and made our stay memorable.
The heating in the room wasn't adequate for the unusually cold night.

beautiful views, scenic walking trails, cosy dining area
Dinner menu notably limited!!! Bar area required a warmer, more inviting atmosphere!!! Garden furniture in disrepair, detracting from the outdoor experience!!! A bit more attention to detail would greatly enhance the overall comfort!!!

Great location near the Monsal Trail with amazing views over the valley. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, with a nice flat-screen TV and free toiletries. The breakfast was tasty, with freshly made options. Dog-friendly too! Just needs some updates in the bathroom area.

missingWrote a review on 24 Janoutdated decor
The property's older style is evident, and it could definitely use some TLC in terms of decor and maintenance. the roof leaked, the window timberwork showed signs of rot, and the guttering was hanging off, which made opening the window impossible. Fast service in the breakfast room was significantly delayed on the frosty night of our stay, which may not suit those eager to get an early start on local hikes. parking arrangements could be communicated better, as finding out about unexpected fees upon check-in was a minor hassle.
